I'm Matthew, a builder working at the intersection of software, marketing, and sports. I like problems where distribution and product are the same problem, and where a small team with good systems can outpace a much larger one.
Most of my work is some version of the same loop: find a market that's mispriced, build something genuinely useful for it, and wire up the systems that let it compound. I care more about durable leverage than about launches.
This site is my public operating system: a living archive of what I'm building, learning, reading, and thinking about. It's organized like documentation because that's how I actually think: in indexes, notes, and revisable entries rather than a highlight reel.
- 01Systems over heroics: boring things done consistently win.
- 02Write it down. A note is a cheap experiment in thinking.
- 03Build for leverage, not applause.
- 04Taste is compressed experience; shorten the loop.
- 05Useful beats clever, almost always.
